If you are a property manager, second homeowner, small hotel or just a person who loves the feeling of crisp, clean sheets, Organic Housekeepers offers the following laundry services at its Eagle-Vail, Colorado, office. We offer a discounted rate when you book cleaning services with us.

Safer suds
Like with everything we do, Organic Housekeepers works hard to make our laundry facility as sustainable as possible.

The commercial grade laundry detergent we use is created by local company In House Laundry Systems out of Avon, Colorado, and is Green Seal Certified. It’s a non-toxic alternative to most commercial detergents.

Green Seal is an independent, non-profit organization that uses science-based standards and the power of the marketplace to create a more sustainable world.

Since we are in the business of making sheets and table linens stain free, we have to use a whitener. But we chose an environmentally friendly oxygen-based bleach instead of a chlorine-based bleach.

Chlorine, a prime cause of atmospheric ozone loss, is listed in the 1990 Clean Air Act as a hazardous air pollutant. It’s commonly found in the fat tissue of women with breast cancer, and when inhaled, it irritates the lungs.
